The Superior Hiking Trail is a 235 mile trek along Minnesota's rocky ridgeline. It is located inside Superior National Forest, above Lake Superior and was developed in the 1980s by a group of hiking enthusiasts who started the Superior Hiking Trail Association to both maintain the trail itself and promote it's benefits to other hikers.
